Paragliding Course — P1
The most basic and shortest paragliding course — with a Billing Paragliding Association (BPA) Certificate
Overview
Paragliding is the path into gliding and flying the sky, and this is the most basic, entry-level course — most of the training is on the ground. You learn how to open up a glider; the parts, key terms and theory of paragliding; how to wear the harness and glider; watch a demo by certified instructors; then begin ground training — lifting a glider, balancing it over your head, running with it to the end of the field and repeating. You finish with a tandem paragliding fly and the Billing Paragliding Association Certificate (BPA).
Highlights & attractions
The magnificent Dhauladhar Range. Comfortable daytime weather to learn paragliding. The rich culture of Bir — home to mountain settlers, Himalayan nomadic communities, Tibetans and many paragliding pilots. On completion you earn the Billing Paragliding Association Certificate (BPA).
